Tin Can Picnic

It will be a day of fun — helping preserve the memory of the railroad years on the Texas Central and later, the MKT. Guest speakers will be Steve Goen, author and photographer of trains all over Texas and Corrender Taylor, railroad historian and photographer with Abilene Preservation League along with other local individuals with railroad connections.
The afternoon will include tours of the De Leon Area Historical Museum, Terrill Antique Car Museum and the MKT depot being preserved.There will be no charge for attendance.
